Difficult I know , although for Brit it's a bit like Feldgrau I take it , the basis of the whole uniform . I seem to recall all the post war stuff (greek etc) came in child only sizes .

Correct, unless you're pretty small you need to get repro and that has just got more expensive.

To be honest though, you do get a superb uniform for your money. Even the SoF stuff will last you AGES.

I have a set of wool BD I can lend out. Yith's old trousers (whatever they were), and a Greek BD, badged up as 2 Commando. I am quite happy for the borrower to rebadge it, as long as they put it all back - nicely! Fits 36" waist, 42" chest, height 5' 11" or thereabouts.

And I guess I won't be needing my 37 patt webbing for this one, either.

'Course it is, old chum. Are we likely to bump into each other before this game, or shall I give it to a fellow northerner to hand deliver?

there's a French Re-enactment group (I knew there had to be if I searched hard enough!) and there's some piccies of 1940 Brit French and German re-enactors that I thought I should share. In case people were going 'hmmm?'

i wouldnt buy a gun off a french re-enactor, its probably been dropped once

also the armpits of any jackets would be worn out, or badly weathered, due to the amount of time their hands were in the air :D

I'm going to have to do this , as Scaleyback says this could be the only time I get a chance to wear the kilt, being the proud possessor of a 51st highland loadout ,Gordon Highlanders , complete with kilt and kilt apron, going to have to look for a gas mask bag now.
